from the relation | The square is a surface covered in aurisina stone which, through a simple gradual slope, creates a basin at a 40 cm lower level to define the area where to bed out the Carpinus betulus, which are disposed according to a regular mesh of four per six. On the basin pavement, a ground level fountain creates a small agglomeration space able to catalyze the collective use of the square. The big void and vegetated space of the square are longitudinally divided by a 40 cm gap in the paved surface. This neat and organizing line introduces a seat in the highest point of the gap, with the dual function to provide a more pleasant contact with the ground and as a sort of protection to the 40 cm step, generated by the folding pavement. Along the same generating line, at east, a hollow, pigmented concrete prism is placed, laying on joists that separate it from the ground and allow to produce a grazing light all around the object, emphasizing its lightness. The prism works as a seat for the cooler seasons, while some cuts provided on one side operate as a bike parking.
